Reach skiers at the moment of decision
WhereToSkiNext.com is a free, early-stage decision tool built for skiers who are comparing where to go. We are not a content or conditions publisher: we rank and compare mountains to help people choose a trip. The goal is to influence consideration before a ticket, a room, or a drive, with algorithm integrity and transparent labeling as non-negotiables.
For mountain GMs and operators: WhereToSkiNext is early-stage. Partnerships are scoped in conversation, with transparent labeling and no paid influence on organic rank. If you want visibility when skiers are comparing trips, without paying to move your mountain in the rankings, that is the conversation we want to have.

A decision engine, not a media site
People come to WhereToSkiNext to compare where to go: snow, drive time, crowds, price, and pass fit in one ranked view. We are building for that planning moment, not for passive browsing. As the product grows, partner visibility can sit alongside organic results without changing how mountains earn rank.
Skier enters their preferences
Pass type, distance, budget, and mountain size, filtered to their situation.
Live data runs in real time
Snow forecast, temperature, crowd outlook, and drive time personalized to their location.
Best mountains surface to the top
A ranked list with a clear recommendation, then they book.
Partners reach them here
Visibility at the moment of trip consideration, before the ticket or room decision.
Built for the ski industry ecosystem
Near term, we are focused on mountain operators. We still work across the trip, but independent and regional mountains are the primary audience for founding partnerships. Other categories follow as the product matures.
Independent Mountains
Visibility when skiers compare options in your region, with clear labeling and no rank inflation.
Regional Groups & Mountain Operators
Multi-area operators and ownership groups exploring coordinated presence, subject to relevance and disclosure rules.
Lodging & Travel
Contextual placement when an overnight or destination trip fits the flow. Measured, labeled, and not positioned as performance marketing.
Pass Programs
Participating mountains surfaced to users who filter by pass type (Indy, Epic, Ikon, and others) when those filters are live in product.
Local Ski Shops
Useful placements such as rent-near-the-mountain on resort pages, where they help the skier and fit the product.
Gear & Apparel
Planning-context reach, not generic display. Category fit and user clarity come first.
Data & Tech Partners
Snow data, conditions feeds, and integrations that improve rankings and UX for everyone.
Two ways to partner
Founding Mountain Partner is our early-stage, relationship-driven path for operators and local businesses. Strategic Partner is for larger programs and integrations. Both are scoped in conversation, not sold off a rate card.
Built for independent and regional mountains that want to be part of WhereToSkiNext while the platform is still growing. We shape placements, timing, geography, and reporting around your goals and what is live on the site today. Expectations stay realistic; the relationship does not.
Possible partnership elements may include:
- Featured visibility when your mountain appears organically in relevant searches, with clear partner labeling.
- Dedicated mountain summary page with current conditions and a direct CTA to your site when that experience is available.
- State or regional visibility where it fits the product and disclosure rules.
- Compare-page partner labeling where appropriate, without affecting organic rank.
- Clearly labeled placements only. No influence on organic rankings, ever.
For pass programs, lodging platforms, brands, and data partners that want deeper integration, co-branded experiences, or broader category visibility. Scope, timeline, and commercial terms are built to match.
- Co-branded or embedded product experiences
- Deeper technical or data integrations
- Native placements in the recommendation flow, with the same integrity rules
- Category or segment discussions where they make sense
- Reporting aligned to live placements and traffic, tailored and not overpromised
Sponsorship never influences recommendations
Algorithm integrity
Our scoring engine is completely separate from sponsorship logic. A mountain's rank is determined by snow, drive time, crowds, and fit, not by commercial relationships.
Transparent labeling
Every sponsored placement is visibly labeled "Sponsored" or "Featured Partner." Users always know what's organic and what's paid.
Relevance gates
Sponsored mountains only appear in results they belong in organically. We sell visibility within relevance, not relevance itself.
User-first, always
The product stays free, uncluttered, and trustworthy. If a sponsorship would degrade the user experience, we don't do it.
Discuss a custom partnership
If you run a mountain or represent an operator, pass program, or platform, we are happy to walk through fit, timing, and what is realistic at this stage.
